Peg lateral buildup
A literal example of a little goes a long way. A little ball of composite can change a smile dramatically 😁

🔑: Dentists do a lot more than filling cavities and pulling teeth! Even if a patient has great oral hygiene and health, there are things a dentist can do to enhance their smile. In this case, the patient had a peg lateral, a congenital condition in which their lateral incisor is smaller and has a more conical appearance. In one short appointment with no local anesthesia and a little composite, the patient’s peg lateral was restored to a more esthetically pleasing shape. Instead of a standard bevel (uniform 0.5mm), an infinite bevel (varying width and thickness) was used to camouflage the finish line. This allows for a more seamless transition between composite and enamel.
