Weird enamel defect

Keeping it short and simple today with an interesting case of a pair of identical enamel defects in a pair of twins 👀⁣

CC: “my two kids have a weird looking tooth”⁣

Dx: enamel defect on #D (non-cavitated)⁣

Tx: no treatment⁣

🔑: Cases like this makes me marvel at how complex processes such as tooth formation are rooted in genetics. Two identical twins with two identical enamel defect on the same tooth (only #D). Is anyone surprised by this? ⁣
